Wayne grew up in North Bay – his veins pump Northern Ontario blood (just ask the mosquitoes and black flies). He is equally imposing whether he is splitting a cord of wood or arguing his client’s case in court. He is a true Northerner in every sense of the word. He has travelled all over Northern Ontario, including the most remote court locations, seeking justice for his clients. Wayne built a solid reputation throughout the North as a top criminal and family litigation lawyer in his early legal career. He now brings that dedication and precision to his civil litigation practice at Larmer Stickland. Wayne has a passion for helping the disadvantaged. He is the lawyer for the underdog. Wayne attended law school at the University of Toronto, graduating in 1999. He was called to the Bar in 2001. Wayne is a Deputy Judge and former Provincial Prosecutor. He is a member of the Nipissing Law Association, the Law Society of Ontario, and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
After his cases are finished, Wayne can only be located with a GPS. He will either be tracking wildlife through the forests of Northern Ontario, exploring his beloved Lake Temagami with his wife and children, teaching them the fine art of catch and release or freezing in a Hockey Rink somewhere in Ontario. He considers himself a decent cook and looks forward to the day that he can challenge the “Game Gourmet”! He is also useful at boat launches – he can back any size boat and trailer into any location, without assistance, using just his truck mirrors.
